Searching around the net for the past few hours in an attempt to see what people have to say about this monitor I've found 1 measly review on newegg claiming it was the lord and savior of lcd panels. However, I was wondering what others had to say, or if anyone knew anything about it?

There is currently no review here for it, nor mention of it anywhere on this site, but it is advertising a 2ms response which to me is unheard of, claiming to be a great "gaming panel" with absolutely "no ghosting".

I hope that these claims are true as I'm in the market for just that (aren't we all). Was hoping someone could shed some light on this new panel (claims to be releasing Dec. 1, 2005 - but is already available at Newegg).

It could quite possibly be the same as the VX924 (which does have a review) but I am just not sure.

Thanks!

Best Viewsonic monitor to date: VP191B, one of the best monitors for gaming and whatnot,
VIEWSONIC STOPED MAKING THEM!!!!
So they replaced it with the VP930(B). (B=black, only one on newegg).

The timings are identical and toms hardware did a review of it, better color but slightly slower but not noticaple resonse time.

If you are going for a 19in. monitor than the VP930 has to be the way to go.

what amazed me wasnt that the VX922 claims to be 2ms but that it AVERAGES that for all greys. this would be truly leaps and bounds above anything im familiar with. i found a review this but in chinese...

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://lcd.ezit.com.cn/art/2833/20051025/357379_2.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dvx922,auo%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DG

maybe your translator is better but i gatherd; 6-bit color, and that the response wasnt very improved  . im guessing it uses a similar (but not the same) panel as the 4ms VX924 and has a similar response time graph. this graph will basically resemble a 35ms panel with 2 points dragged down to 4ms. its pathetic.
btw i think this AUO panel is used in the new 2ms BenQ FP93GX so you could look for reviews on that too.
