Hey all, i am gonna purchase one of these three monitors but cant find many reviews about difference between them should i grab, i use it for gaming and school, thanks!

VIEWSONIC 20" VX2035WM
ViewSonic VG2030WM
-there is also a 2025 model im having trouble finding...

any help between the three? Thanks!!

I think the 2035 is just an updated version/better version of the 2025. I'd go with the 2035... or 2025 if it is super cheap somewhere.

I've been told that the 2035 isn't worth the extra expense over the 2025. I think the only difference is the lower response time, and that in actual testing, there's little difference even there.

I was just wondering if anyone that has this monitor VG2030WM can tell me if the refresh rate is 75mhz or higher at 1680 - 1050? I am wondering because I am interested in buying this monitor but anything under 75mhz makes me feel sick for some reason. any info you can offer would be greatly appreciated

the model number for the monitor I was refering to is a lcd monitor. Idealy what I am looking for is a lcd monitor that has a refresh rate of 85mhz. If anyone knows of one I would greatlt appreciate that information.

yes, really any monitor that has a refresh rate lower then 85mhz makes my head hurt and after about 30min i start to feel sick. looks like I will be using my crt for a long while to come.

when you say this, do you mean you've sat in front of a LCD for that long and had those symptoms?.

I myself can't work with a CRT thats any less than 75mhz refresh, or I end up with headaches and such from the flicker.. but I'm fine with any lcd.
LCD displays are inherently stable, unlike CRT's which are simply excited phosphors that flicker rapidly.
