Hi Chris Eberle, thanks very much for your review on the XG2530 monitor, hoping you could help please. I may have missed something, and am probably just a touch confused. I have a mid end PC i5 at 3.2 with a 1060 gtx and want a new monitor and think this is the one for me, however am grappling with the idea of spending more to get a gsync. Although my card is Nvidia rather than AMD will this monitor still give me the higher refresh rates, will it just sit at a high refresh rate rather than "adaptively" changing to suit my card? I'm just a little confused , or would you recommend, considering I wont change the card for a while, that I spend $100 more and get a 144hz gsync? I do like the 240hz idea but, if due to Freesync, it wont look that nice then I'd be wasting money. Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks in advance.
