Question Vinyl wrap on psu?

So I'm going all black and white, I want to wrap the block side of the psu in white vinyl and have the fan face down to intake cold air(it usually doesnt spin anyways)

Is it safe to do so?

What exactly do you mean by block side?
Do you intend to flip the psu in your case so that the fan faces down?

Yes so the fan face down and basically wrap the side that's flat with white vinyl, is it safe to do so? It wont create static shock?

As long as you aren't touching the inside of the PSU, probably not. If you want to be safe, you can keep it plugged into the wall while you do it. Most good PSUs have their external casing grounded.
