VIRTUAL DISK DRIVE HELp

Sorry for all caps in the title. But my disk drive apparently died on me. Had it for awhile now and instead of getting another one. I heard that there are virtual disk drives that can help. Install ISO files you download. Can anyone point me to a good free one. Or should i go out and shop for a new one and blank CD's if those are still around.

If you hard disk die, you need to buy a new one.

Not my hard drive. My optical disk disk drive, and speaking of hard drives dying. Gonna back mines up right about now.
