i recently installed magic drive because i do not have a internal CD drive and lately when the program has yet to be booted and ran also it will trow a "windows does not recognize this CD format" when trying to play Oblivion (yes i own the game but my dog chewed the disk up) and F>E>A>R. will not install even though it is a ISO file

I've never used magic drive, but I have used Demon tools for years. The lite version is free and has worked flawlessly. Give it a try.

Ive used demon tools before and never really liked it. that why on this build i used another program.
and now its not working at all the drives are there and i can mount my iso files but thats it when i try to run the game it just lets me explore nothing else

A lot of games have special anti-piracy measures encoded onto the media. For example, certain sectors are deliberately made unreadable and the software checks for these. Any program that requires the CD to be in the drive when it runs typically uses these kinds of checks.

If that's the case with your game, you may just have to buy an external CD drive.

but what with the V/CD drive begin there from the moment i start the computer and have yet to run the magic disk program?? to my understanding they shouldn't be there
