[SOLVED] Virtual HDD emulation

Hello ,

I have some software that only allows the use of two different physical HDD .. and it wont allow using partitions on the same HDD .

is there any drivers that emulates hdd partitions as another hdd ? it would be the same concept of RAM disks drivers , but for hdd.

The only reason a program would have such a restriction would be that it would lose a lot of performance if it would use the same disk or if there is danger of losing data.

You can add virtual hdds to windows directly.

If that doesn't work your other option would be to use a virtual machine (like vmware or virtualbox) and see if your software can run in it.
