Virtual machine experience?

I play a game that heavily promotes afking pretty much 24/7 for good rewards, I can't keep my own pc on over night as I sleep in the same room and its noisy af. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything with virutal machines etc? that would allow me to just press 1 button and leave it running over night? Thanks for the help. Not sure where to post it, my bad if wrong place.

1. Gaming within a VM is generally a bad experience.

2. The VM is its own "PC", and requires its own OS license and install.

3. What system would you be running this on? Some other box in another room?

I was looking online for some cloud ones or something? Something I just pay like 20$ a month for and I can access it through my browser turn it on and then leave it

Oh. That's a whole different thing. Hosted, not a "VM", as one would have on a local PC.

I have no experience with that.
