Hi all.

My wife needs several virtual machines running at the same time, and they all need to acces the same ssd. She says that only one machen will write a part at a time in stead of them all writing to it all at once. Is there supposed to be a queue, or is there a way to make it all virtual machines acces it at the same time? I've never worked with VM before she started her P.hD program, so I dont really know how to answer her questions. The ssd in question is a intel 750 series ssd.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can use the same drive for numerous vm's and it will work just fine. All you have to do is set up the vm's to use the same drive one at a time. Just remember that the more vm's you have using the single drive it will slow each one down. I have two that i run on a single drive without any problems.
