Sooo, it's the CQC part of Elite. Ohhh, so excited, can't wait. /sarcasm

Sorry, I can't get over the sub for EVE, and the toxic environment in the game.

Well, more variety can't hurt, right? Some healthy competition and the fear of losing market share can do wonders for innovation.

Valkyrie doesn't tie in with the standard EVE community.
I'm sure there will be crossover, but this is a very different game.

It's a standalone title with NO monthly subscription fee.

I don't know if it ties into EVE directly. If not at launch, I suspect later one once the kinks are ironed out. I'm sure this question has been answered.

It will really be the "killer app" for some people to invest in VR. If not this game, then perhaps Star Citizen in 3016.

well, somebody clearly got killed in a PVP game and decided to rant about it in a random comment.
You may not like it, but compared to other MMOs that focus on PvP and ingame social activities, EVE's community is the most mature you'll ever find.
You should try a moba or a shooter to see what toxic really means.

For the full experience, try a south american server.

This is why I'm getting a PS4 later in the year.

As an experience it's deeply immersive and outrageous fun. I've done a couple of stints at Fanfest, I can't recommend it highly enough. This is going to be great fun.

CCP are going to keep developing the game world and offer more and more options. It's going to be really good. I expect there will be arenas where very many people get to join. CCP are used to having hundreds to thousands of players in the same place at the same time.

It's going to be fabulous :)

Alright ace, remember your training. We need you out there, you can make a difference.

*Giant ship jumps in blows everything up in a single hit*

Yea, sure...

Is that with a Sony Morpheus HUD, or using the OR?

BTW, despite the high specs for Star Citizen on PC, a space fighting game can actually look pretty darn amazing at 1080p, 60FPS on a PS4. You're in space so there's a lot of optimizations you can do for that compared to being in a dense jungle for example.
