VirtualDub: wannabe a newbie

I read on this Newsgroup all about VirtualDub but I do not know how to
install the required codec - VFW compatible. I can use Pinnacle and WMM but
the files produced by these do not open in VirtualDub. I have looked on the
suggested websites but can't find what I need. I fancy trying this software
as all you out there seem to think it is good.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Cheers

Install the Panasonic codec from
http://users.tpg.com.au/mtam/install_panvfwdv.htm and you'll be all set.

Bingo, now I can spend even more time playing. Thank you very much for your
