As the title suggests I need to enable VT-X on my ASUS K53SV win 7 64bit, but I have not found the option is required for activation. In the image below, in the first box is as it should be my bios according to the instruction manual, while in subsequent frames is what I see in the bios.

I also checked that the PC would support the VTX and I updated the bios as shown in the image below.

Would you know by any chance how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

I did some digging around and found that on some bios have it specifically labeled VT-X, while others don't,
but by enabling Virtualization Technology, it should include VT-X.
VT-D is there because VT-X does not need VT-D to work, so that's why it has that option in that bios to enable or disable it.
Here is the new Asus UEFI bios, on the top right it says by enabling Virtualization Technology, it includes other features that's part of Intel's VT.

Best option would be to contact Asus and ask them if Virtualization Technology included VT-X or is it a separate feature.
If it's a separate feature, then is there a way to enable it with another bios update.

Thank you very much for giving me taking the time. I also found myself in the same network answers, I contacted asus and they told me that my model (K53SV) does not support VTX. I think that this problem is associated with the mobo and not the CPU since the utility intel says that the CPU supports the VTX. I'm really disappointed because the pc is very good :-(

Thanks again
