Virtuix hit an unfortunate roadblock with international shipments of its highly-anticipated virtual reality treadmill, Omni, which forced the company to discontinue its plans to sell the Omni outside of the U.S.

I'm really disappointed that I learned about this via Tom's hardware and not via an investor update.

This, or any indication of this was happening, was also not disclosed as even a risk during their investor information dissemination given out while they sought investors, and I frankly feel duped. With this change, it really puts my whole investment in a higher risk category than I had envisioned!

As soon as they upped the price to US$1000+shipping this product was dead in the water.
I saw it being used at a convention a few months ago and thought that looks pretty good but there is no way I'm paying that much for it, and I like expensive toys and gadgets.
This news is just another nail in the coffin.

I think that got a little bit too pricey. I have a feeling they are done for, unless gyms and gaming places start buying them.
