i had a virus on my computer so i installed new windows 7 on another harddisk when i connect the old harddisk which contain a lot of needed files which i cant delete it just choose the old windows 7 insted of the new one even after i try to bypass it by bios its still open the old one insed of the new one

Solution
swap the sata cables to the drives. often the mobo will boot sata 1 then sata 2 and so on. more than likely your old drive is sata 1 and booting first despite you telling it not to. swapping the cables will make the new drive the lower numbered sata slot which should solve this issue.

has worked for me a number of times when bios settings failed to boot the right drive first.

Try changing the boot order in the BIOS. Ensure you save the settings. Also after BIOS post it should sya something like press XXXX to select boot device press the needed key combination and select the new boot drive. If nether of those work put the old HDD into a USB enclosure and plug it in after boot up. if you have esata you can try to ensure it is configures for hot swap boot the computer with the old HDD disconnected (SATA Port) at the back of the HDD and once booted up plug the SATA port into the HDD.

Update:
You will have to change and save the boot order with both HDD's plugged in. Once you plug in the other drive the bios may change the boot order again even though you changed and saved it already.
