Virus Changed Text File Icons..

So my friend trolled me with one of those prank viruses, but it left one small problem in my system. Every .txt I have on my computer has had it's icon changed, like changed by even a new .txt has that icon, so I guess the virus just changed the default icon.. how can I change it back to the normal one? Please help!! I don't like bright red "UR NEXT" icons on all my lua scripts (I am a game dev for ROBLOX).

Hi, an easy way to do this is to use a program called [FileTypesMan] from NirSoft. Near the bottom of the page you'll see the download links.

I just tried the program out in my Windows 10 test machine and it worked fine. Just open the program, do a "find" for .txt then right click in the file type and choose Edit Selected File Type and change the icon.

If you can't find the right icon, try looking in this file in the Change Icon dialog: %SystemRoot%\System32\SHELL32.dll
