I recently encountered my first virus. Since I bought my computer, I havn't once encountered a virus, but now whenever I reboot when I go to uninstall a program and sort by date, it shows about 4 or 5 newly installed adware that is just there. There are no warnings or prompts, it just appears. When I turn my computer on I usually uninstall all the programs with control panel, then I go to Malwarebytes and scan using both the threat scan and the hyper scan. It then finds some of the remnants of the files and deletes them, but once I reboot they're back. This includes addons for firefox. I think this virus came from a torrent I downloaded. When I clicked the install for it, it just said error, and ever since I've had these random installations. When this happened I didn't have any antivirus installed because I never really had a need for it since I rarely install new programs. I installed Malwarebytes after the incident. These programs don't impact performance at all, but I don't want them there because I'm sure that they will stack, or have side effects that I don't want by leaving them there. I also notice in task manager random setup.exe's using my bandwidth (I have slow internet so every kb matters to me). I usually end them, but others just pop back up. Malwarebytes occasionally says programs were quarantined, but not all the time.

I have windows 8.1 Pro x64, and Malwarebytes Premium

Sounds like a root kit.
If you've got a second computer use it to download the removal programs.. get the infected one offline immediately if you can.

Install Avast aswMBR and Scan exhaustively. I recommend it because it can scan the MBR too.
I would usually also install a second scanner and exhaustively scan with that too.
Or a third!

Malwarebytes has a good rootkit scanner too.
In fact - head here and use whatever combination of these free tools you wish:

It will take a lot of time, scanning and re-scanning until everything is gone. Good luck!
We cannot offer assistance for problems or issues resulting from infected files contracted from downloading any cracked, patched, hacked, warez, torrentz or other shady operations. Your best bet is to try using a second opinion scanner like Hitman Pro. And delete the shady stuff.
