Virus?

Hello I have recently killed my computer so I took everything apart and built my pc again and reinstalled windows. I usea ocz 60gb vertex 3 ssd and a western digital 1tb hard drive i put in everything exept the hard drive and everything works like a new gaming rig but when i put in back the hard drive the computer crashes and dies and its really slow. I took the hard drive out and everything works fine like a boss. Why is this and can i fix this problem any help is welcome

How did you kill your system?

It looks the HDD is failing. You could run some HDD diagnostics to verify.
