Visioneer 7600 USB vs Windows XP Pro

My scanner used to work. Now it doesn't, and I cannot re-create connectivity and operation. I can't even be sure it powers up!
Data indicates this model is not supported by XP.
Any work-around?

If it's pre-USB and not regular SCSI it may be easier to look for a new scanner.

I'd say Epson, Canon but not HP --- nor the lesser known brands due to just the sort of support issue you've encountered.

Meanwhile see if it'll work with Vuescan or Silverfast. You can download a demo of either -- but you have to pay for a fully working copy.
