Looking for drivers, I went to the AMD site and tired to find the driver for my card, and I get the radeon hd 2400 PCIe. I dont have PCIe, I have AGP. Where can I find the correct driver? Sorry if this is a stupid question, im not computer smart
The only reason is they tend to be more stable. A friend of mine got a 2600 XT AGP and the 8.6 drivers just sucked. So I found and loaded up the latest Omega drivers and it was stable and even gave a performance boost.

Go to this page: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx and answer the questions. It should send you to the driver download page. However, I have the same card and I have had problems getting the install procedure to work consistently. Be sure to read their page on how to uninstall old drivers and the other page on how to install new drivers. Follow the directions carefully as it is not fun to have to repeat the procedure if you get any errors.
Personally, I find their web pages, install and uninstall procedures very cumbersome. I am going to check out the post below by jimmysmitty and maybe find a better solution.
