vista and dual CPU socket

Hi. I have heard some version of Vista are required if I have a dual CPU mobo with both Socket populated. I would like to know where can I get the related information/references?

You can get by just fine with 2000/XP... you don't need Vista. Of course if you want it, that's up to you.

If the licensing is like XP, then stay away from the Home versions since they will only support one socket.

I would imagine Vista Business will support 2 sockets.
