Vista compatability

Hello,
I have not had one compatability issue sucessfully resolved with vista 64bit. I should have bought a mac. I will have to buy new software anyway. -and I would have a thin computer-.
Question :-
How do you (or I) get the compatability thingo to work???

Right click the icon for the program you want to run, click properties, compatability and select the mode you want to run it under. Sometimes just right clicking the icon and selecting run as Administrator is all that is needed

Ok I read that to - then I tried it - and - I tried it, I tried it, I tried it .......
It dosen't work !!!!!!

The program you are using may just not be able to run on your version of windows. May I suggest you check the programs website to see if it does run on your system, and at least we will be able to take it from there
