Hello,
I can't access Facebook at all. I keep getting the DNS Server error, and it keeps linking me back to Yahoo search engine. I've entered DNS server addresses manually, as well as having switched back to obtaining the DNS server address automatically. If there's any way any of you can help at all, I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you either way,
-MistahStreet.

Take some standard troubleshooting steps:

ping www.facebook.com

What is the IP address? Does it resolve?
If it resolves, use that IP address in place of the website's name (http://###.###.###.###.com)

That will remove DNS as an issue.

If it does not resolve, facebook may be blocking ping requests... but that's Ok.

Open a command prompt, type "nslookup" and hit enter. Now, type in "www.facebook.com" and DNS will attempt to resolve the name. If that works, DNS is functioning. If it does not, DNS may be an issue. Try using different DNS servers to see if you can access the page.

Of course, facebook coule be experiencing issues as well, or your ISP is havning issues.

Goto start-cmd in search box, try ipconfig /release , reboot computer than do the same thing and type ipconfig /renew

Try a ipconfig /release in dos than reboot PC. Than Ipconfig /renew in dos. You can try and use the ping command with facebook or tracert it. Could be that Facebook is down with traffic and their DNS server is Down!
