Help! I was using my laptop, (My old Betsy where my old emails and work files and work photos--I'm a Realtor) and it came unplugged, (no battery) so it restarted. Now it says," no operating system found" ACK! I have no way to boot this! I can use Fkey menus....if that helps..
I would like to retrieve data......How do I do this?

Solution
Go into the BIOS, make sure your hard drive is listed in the boot options, set it as the first boot device.

And make backups of your files. Unless you like the thrill of the feeling that you could lose your data at any moment. Hard drives fail, with no backups, your data goes with it.
