Vista Narrator Missing Voices. How do i reinstall it?

I tried to install dragon naturally speaking, it didnt work, and the setup failed. I tried to use the general/basic text-to-speech narrator, and it starts normally, without any errors. When i click on "Voice Settings" i get a Microsoft Narrator window that pop's up.

"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'.
Parameter name: SelectedIndex."


When i click on the "Details" button, this is all the info that i see"

How can i re-installl this narrator without damaging the rest of my OS and data?

Narrator is not a stand alone installable software program, it is part of the operating system. Perhaps try a registry fix software to 'repair' the program otherwise a repair install or reformat and new reinstall of the OS would repair any corrupted program files.

Is there any way to re-install or copy the needed files that are missing? I have a modded gamers version of vista x64, and some files were removed to make it more efficient, as i was not the one removing files, i need to know which files i need to re-download and install or copy.

Repair install or fresh install of Vista OS. The program is part of the OS, not a stand alone software with an individual download from M$.
