Hi all,
I've got a built-in microphone on my computer. Six months ago (when I last used it lol) it worked fine to video chat. Now, it's been a while and I've updated to service pack 2, but I also updated my drivers.
Now, when I try to use Yahoo (or any program for that matter) my mic picks up a lot of static but no voice, even if I shout. Windows recognizes the mic on the Recording Devices tab. It's a Realtek Hi Def mic in a Toshiba Satellite, if that makes a difference.
Is there something that needs updating? Is the mic broken? What's up?
Thanks!
L
