Vista to xp help plssss.

im running windows vista and i want to downgrade to windows xp? and what do need to do to get this done

cant use floppy because i get error that saids:

NO address ID mark found on floppy disk drive A:\
drive A:\ not accessible

changed boot order
wont let me boot from (cd-ROM)

have secondary drive w/ vista on it as well (19.0GB) and
primary w/ vista on it (80BG)

cant use control panel>system and maint.>admin tools>disk mgmt>storage>clk on drive>"format">enter
wont work

how do get this off

cant use "R" for recovery during reboot with installtion disk

You need to boot from the Windows XP CD. If you can't, then you either have a bad CD or bad optical drive.

dont know bout that buddy... my drives r good 'cludin' opt drive....

i know i have to remove vista totally and install from a clean slate

what i don't know is where to get correct drivers i need,
windows boot cd-rom (how to make bootable CD-ROM)
things i may wont and need to try (dont need to save anything)
need step by step w/ options

try'ed d-ban.... don't quite know how to proceed with it but it's rite up my alley

note: the primary hd boots the os... i cant boot from secondary... it prompts me to the boot manager and ask'd to install cd after restart... go to language and to hit "r" for recovery>enter ... and it didn't work

i need step by step help
