Vista vs Windows 7

Hello,
I am having stability challenges with Vista 64 ... the dreaded "blue screen." Will Win 7 be more stable? Or if I do the upgrade on my HP Notebook, will I just continue with my current challenges?

Is the bluescreen pointing to anything in particular? If there's some sort of hardware malfunction, switching OS might not make any difference.

It all depends on what's causing the BSOD. Try to remember what you're doing when it happens each time. What is the string of text with the underscores(ex: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)?

the two above are correct. please list what error you are getting on the blue screen.

is ur hp 64 are u installing 64 on 32 did u boot into safe mode

if ur running ati graphics sometimes the new drivers wont work properly
