Windows Vista won't boot past blue/black screen even after numerous tries and holding down F8, any suggestions ? Thanks Jim

System make Model ?
Tap the F8 key, don't hold it down.
Have lights on back of computer to diagnose with owner's manual ?

What light activity do you see on front CD, Driva(if you have one),
Hard drive ?

Have a Windows CD ?
