Vlc not responding

i play one piece with my vlc player...ever since i intalled 2.1.2 its not playing some old episodes.....i reverted back to 2.0.5 it plays it properly i tried reinstalling the newer ver still not able to play some episodes

Dont use the newer one then. There is not a big difference between the two.

Without knowing the reason or specifics of the issue it is hard to tell. If you report this to VLC and give them more specific details of the issue they may be able to fix it.

in the old one while playing the file it says playing with mini coder......what does that mean>?
