Hi,

So I just got the vmoda boom pro today and upon plugging it in I noticed how it drastically changed my audio clarity on the Phillips shp9500 and also once windows completely loaded device properties and drivers, I could hear myself through my headphones and everything else was just that terrible audio in the background. Is there something wrong with the device itself, like defective, or is it something I can fix?

Thanks

Check you playback devices to ensure your mic is muted.

You can get this from Sound - > Playback Devices -> Your device -> Properties -> Levels. Look for an mute the mic if you see it.

You may also have a setting in recording, but these tend to be off by default.
