Hello guys.
Which is the best / optimal voltage for fx-6300 with amd turbo core technology disable from bios? I disable turbo core because i had fps drop in game, and i change voltage to 1.3500. It's ok? I have asrock 960gm-vgs3 fx motherboard, deepcool ice edge mini fs 2.0 cooler.

Turbo features always use more voltage than what you need.
You changed the voltage to 1.3500v - was that without increasing the Frequency?
If you increased the Frequency, please confirm where you were in Ghz/Voltage & up to how much did you go?

Usually you try to up the Frequency first, on the standard voltage, to see how much you can get, once you hit an unstable system, increase the voltage again, then repeat until maximum temperature preferences met or voltage reaches CPU recommended limit (unsure for your chip, maybe 1.4v, someone please correct me).

Instead voltage was 1.5 and turbo core on, in all games had fps drop, after search for this problem i change voltage to 1.2250 and turbo core to off. NB i change to 2000-2200 mhz. Today i change voltage to 1.3500, i try to play csgo and fps drop appeard.

I think 1.2250v and 2000-2200mhz NB are stable. I dont have fps drop and temperature is normal.

What about your temps? I know you have a decent cooler so this shouldn't be a problem, but maybe the CPU is throttling when the temp limits are reached.

Try AMD Overdrive, go to the CPU monitoring option and keep this open when gaming, where it says Thermal Margin, check to see you aren't in the red or getting close tot he +0.0C limit.

Usually try to be no closer than +10.0C to your limit (i.e. if it's 72C the limit for CPU, stick between 60C-65C), but Thermal Margin is different to CPU Temps - try it out.

You also didn't mention the PSU nor the GPU being used.

Maybe the GPU has an issue //or// when you try to up the voltage (like the Turbo Core feature would do as well) the power draw was too much for the PSU.

Seems a shame to have to limit your FX-6300 when you have an aftermarket cooler.

Step-by-step elimination process: Temps -> Thermal Margins -> PSU power limits.

I hope you sort it out, let us know what's what. :)

EDIT: have you checked in your BIOS for any Power Saving Features (disable this/these).
