Voltage Lock Ryzen 7 2700X

Hey i wanted to know If i lock my volts to 1.2 or less will that break anything because right now my cpu is jumping up to 1.5 volts and 4.3 ghz even when idle if i lock it so it only gets 1.2 volts and 3.7 ghz will this break anything, Also what is a safe level

Auto is 100% safe. 1.5v only happens at low volts (which means low amperage), so it can't hurt your CPU.

If you want to lock voltage, just disable XFR and precision boost altogether.

Yeah i just got this CPU and it was jumping up to rando speeds and i was unsure if it was safe Cause im still new to this and i use Ryzen master to look at it all and it says my EDC (Not sure what that means) is at 100 all the time and im not sure if that ok
