Voltage offset ok?

I have my 4690k overclocked to 4.3ghz with according to CPU-Z a voltage of 1.175v.
Until recently i had been using a static voltage by just entering the desired voltage into the BIOS but have began to experiment with the Offset function.
I set the offset value to +0.075 giving a load voltage of 1.175v and idle of 0.78v and it seems very stable,no crashes.Temps never seem to exceed 50c when gaming using liquid cooling.
Does this seem reasonable?

Very reasonable! Have you tried pushing it a bit further...say 4.5 to 4.7 ghz? likely wouldn't require much more volts and you do have the liquid cooling. 😉

Got it to 4.5ghz on 1.22V

Excellent! I'm guessing the temps aren't much higher? You are totally in the safe zone @ 1.22v

Temps hit 75c using prime but never breach 50c when gaming .I guess i'm ll good .Ty i understand offset now.
