Voltage on the A7V

The top voltage the bios allows me is 1.85 volts, but the hardware monitor (in the bios) shows 1.83. On previous boards, it's around 1.86.
Anyone else with this problem?
The same cpu used to be solid at 978mhz.. but now it's only good at 950.

Thanks

The most the socket a boards can put out is 1.85v. So if you have the jumpers set at that, then that's what it is. The moniters and bios are not that exact. They are close but that's it.

Yeah, my board used to say 1.92 volts as well in the probe.
But it's wrong. It's 1.85, like you set it with the dipswitches. I've even e-mailed asus asking them how accurate the probe readings are, and they said close, but not that close. It'll give you a good approximation, but what you set it at on the board is what it will put out.
Same goes for the temp moniter, it isn't exact either.

It says 1.90 on mine... 1.83 in the bios
I'm suspecting the voltage supply is a bit low...
But somehow, prob intreprets about 0.07v higher

the probe is not accurate. It's close, but not that close.

if you set it at 1.85, then that's what it's at.

i don't care what the bios or the ass probe says. it's 1.85
