In a situation like this I would pull every single part out of the case. Check for metal fragments such as left over from threading, check to make sure there isn't a standoff where it doesn't need to be and so forth.
Set the hardware on a table and connect everything that is inside the case there, bread board style and use a meter to see what is leaking the current. IE, your table isn't conductive, so if I hook one lead to a known ground and then use the other lead to probe around on such as where the screws would connect to the mobo, the casing and backplate and such for things like the graphics card, the power supply and so on. Make sure that none of your power supply cables are in a pinch and actually grounding through a wire pass and so on.
DO NOT touch anything that should be actively powered doing this. Only things that should be neutral or specific to ground. If you are not comfortable doing so, please work with the professional to do this check.
