Volume buttons not functioning on my LG Stylo 3

I've had my Stylo for about 6 months at this point, and it's worked beautifully until now. Yesterday or the day before, the volume buttons stopped working. I've looked around for answers as to why this would happen and how I can fix it, but nothing has worked so far. I've tried switching "Switch Access" off and on again, as was suggested in a Pixel thread, but that did not work. I've rebooted the phone as well, which did nothing. I would prefer not to completely wipe the phone, but if it is necessary I may have to. Any thoughts?

I mean, I doubt that I've tried "all the things", I'm looking for other things to try before I have to take that sort of option. Thank you, though.

I still don't know if it is a hardware or a software issue. This is what I'm actively trying to figure out.
