I just finished my first custom made computer, also the first computer I have owned. I started this endeavor 3 weeks ago, doing research on parts and gathering info from people I knew online who have built their own computers. Tom's Hardware was a vital resource for my research and problems and I would like to thank all of you (and especially Rich) for your input and advice.

Right now, I am at BIOS and do not plan on OC'n. I have one simple question... When I dont go directly to bios it says I need to boot from disk. Does that mean I have to insert an Windows boot CD? Because I am not sure if I load windows or my drivers first.

Splendid
You need to load windows first. The drivers are used by windows, so you cant load them until after windows is loaded.
If it is asking if you want to boot to disk, it probably means floppy disk. Make sure that the DVD/CD drive is listed as a boot device. (I usually start with it as the first boot device, then change it latter)

You built your own CPU? Wow - has many Mhz does it have?
