Is it possible to fully use online banking features abroad (specifically Barclays online banking) by using UK based VPN?

I'm moving away abroad permanently(where my parents are currently living) , but I still want to keep my personal banking account just in case (as for a new debit card, I can ask for it while I am abroad, however I can't manage payments fully when abroad).

I use this VPN service which works fine with Barclays and PayPal UK.
