VPN causes Ethernet to stop working

I got a month of PIA and after using the downloaded client for a little bit I disconnected from the server to use my internet at its normal speed. After disconnecting I noticed that my internet stopped working, when I go into adapter settings, it says that Wireless LAN says "Network Cable Unplugged". I tried restarting numerous times and uninstalled the client to see if that would fix the problem, but no. I also re installed it and enabled it, and while active the LAN just says unidentified network, and does not work (have to use wireless card). Any help would be appreciated

You likely need to completely disconnect and/or unload your VPN software for normal access, OR see if it allows you to use "Split Tunneling," which will allow you to continue using your regular Internet connection.

I tried completely uninstalling the vpn, but the problem persists

Re-install the driver for your wired connection. It's probably on the mobo driver CD (or you can get it from their web site).

I re installed the Intel LAN driver and still no luck 🙁
