I'm just full of questions today.
VPN/NT4/RT311

I am having trouble establishing a VPN connection to my NT4.0 Server machine from a windows Me machine. The server has RAS enabled, with PPTP installed and configured. I have an active account called vpntest enables the dial-in. The remote machine has a PPTP VPN adapter installed, and the dial-in is the server's public IP. Both machines are behind separate Netgear RT311s. I have port 1723 open for PPTP. The client machine does not connect though. I only get the error message 'The computer you dialed did not answer. . What am I missing, please?

You can always put the machine in the DMZ temporarily to see what ports are connecting over and then put it back behind the firewall with proper filters in place?
