VPN Router Setup

I am trying to setup a IPSEC VPN so that I can access my office network remotely. My cable provider is Brighthouse and it uses a ARRIS Modem. Connected to my Modem is a Linksys RV325 Gigabit Dual WAN VPN Router. I have tried setting up Shrew to allow me to connect to my router using guides that I have found online but I can not connect. Please Help!!!
