Looking to build a new system for flight sim. I already have the SSD and other components. I would be using X-Plane 11 with the Occulus rift. My goal is to be able to overclock the 8700K to 5 Ghz and get the Super sampling up to 2.0. Thoughts?

Overall a pretty ridiculous build. By other components, what are you referring to? Just the storage, RAM, PSU, or? Assuming you need to buy everything on the list, I'd go with the following build instead:

Ditch the 32GB of RAM. Completely unnecessary unless you're looking into doing 4k video editing. Swapped out the cooler for something quieter/equal performance. Finally, switched out the Board for a higher quality board. Also, dropped down the wattage/price of the PSU to 650. Would only advise going over that if you plan to SLI 1080 Ti's, which I wouldn't recommend.
