Hi guys im going to have about $1000 Australian dollars to spend. Should i wait for the oculus rift or go for a new monitor? My current monitor is 1080p but one of the cheapest ones. My rig can handle the oculus rigft as i have a gtx 980ti what r your thoughts???

As much as I have been waiting for VR over the past 20 Years 
am waiting for the dust to settle on which platform comes out on top. I think once we have Rift and Vibe out, VR will go through a fast transforming stage and a ratified platform we come out (bit like graphic cards). Save your cash and wait for the dust to settle and you'll find a clear winner.
