if a gpu is said to be vr ready does it have the hdmi ports required I need to know as I am planning to invest in a 1070 so which one should I go for

Solution
It means it is capable of running - at least a bit - of VR.

The 1070 will have everything you need to play it, ports and performance. Might not be able to max-out the games tho, i still am to see how they work in those games in good reviews.

But choosing a model for your GPU, I'd recommend the Asus Strix GTX 1070 if you can afford it.
IMO it's one of the best 1070 out there, you won't regret a single bit from getting it.
