[SOLVED] Vram extarnal gpu

Hi, I recently had to factory reset my gaming laptop. It has an external GPU (NVidia 940M) but when I try to play games now they are extremely sow. I have checked my dedicated video ram and it is 0 now. (I am using the correct gpu, the internal one is shut of). it also says microsoft basic driver display as name instead of the normal thing. Is there a way to fix this and get my dedicated ram back so i can game again? I have the correct nvidia drivers installed

If it says Microsoft basic Display drivers then you do not have the Nvidia drivers installed.
