Does more VRAM improve performance for multitasking like multiple browsers open, multiple videos or music files playing, and/or multiple streams, with small but several tasks running alongside or in the background?

No. The things you listed, like playing music files don't consume much video memory. These are all generally "2D" graphics users so not graphics RAM intensive.

Music files playing was a terrible example. To repair it, Music Videos playing instead. Presuming each of these activities requires a tab, and there are hundreds of tabs open with no lazy tab loading, do they use VRAM or just RAM?
