I recently bought an 8700k and paired it with an msi z370 krait gaming motherboard and have been testing to see how cpu and mobo temps are. while running prime95 (small ffts) i noticed my cpu temps were completely fine (around 70c) but i was slightly worried when i looked at the mobo temps and saw 83 degrees. i couldn't find a definitive answer on what CPUTIN and TMPIN3 were and im assuming they are the vrms and chipset? i am at stock speeds and voltage. when i game these numbers stay at around 65-70c. here are the images of my temps.

your cpu is fine at around 70 while stress testing, and while 83 degrees on the cputin and tempin wont hurt them, I also do not know...

your cpu is fine at around 70 while stress testing, and while 83 degrees on the cputin and tempin wont hurt them, I also do not know what they exactly are. but anything below 90 is fine for anything other than your gpu. but in any case (pun intended) I would recommend having more fans around the socket.

try keeping them cooler if possible with more fans, but know that for now, this should immediately make you run out and get scared
