Question VRM temps dangerous? Asus Vega 56 Arez

Hi, people!

I already asked this question on Reddit, but I have not received answers there yet so I decided to ask here because I gained some useful tips on this forum/website already.

I just got the Asus Vega 56 Arez. If I'm using it with the balanced preset on Wattman and playing e.g. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Ultra on 1080p, the VRM temperatures go up to 109°C according to GPU-Z (see screenshot).

I know Asus has those issues with the VRM cooling. My question is: Is that really an issue? I mean: If those VRMs should actually be designed to safely endure those temperatures, I won't be going to change anything. Are they?

If they are not, I gotta think of a solution. I really don't want to disassemble the card for I don't want to get any trouble in regards to warranty. I'd try some other stuff like uv.

Are such temperatures damaging in the long term?

Sorry if the question should be annoying: I know this is a known topic - but is it really a problem?

Thank you! :)
