VRM Throttling? Suggestions?

Hi, I am currently in the process of overclocking my CPU which is a 8320. My motherboard the ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 has had some problems with vrm throttling the cpu core temps. I ended up buying MOSFET heatsinks and after install haven't helped yet.
Any ideas?

Won't help because that board has a terrible power phase and thermal design , it shouldn't have a 125w CPU on it.
