Question VRM throttling under load i9 9900k

Hello.

About 2 years ago I had to undervolt my i9 9900k to make it stable, it has been smooth until now.
Fixed voltage in BIOS at 1.235 was the solution last time.
Now its back again. I only notice it in games, set all in games settings to very low, still happends.
Any tips?

Specs:
i9 9900k
ASrock Extreme4 MB
16GB RAM
2080 Super

I have tried:
Fresh Windows 11 install
Update BIOS
Checked all CPU/GPU/SSD/RAM temps, all good

Fractal define C
Performance fan setup

Idle temps low 30
stress test temps low 70

I think my MB is on the weak side for i9 9900k, so undervolting helped before. Might be another problem now tho. Everything apart from GPU is 4,5 years old.

After hours trying different stuff, it turns out it was my mouse hz giving me fps problems.
Took it down from 1000hz to 250hz, no idea why this turned out to be problem now as I had the same mouse for 6 months.

Made a huge mistake getting a cheap mb back in 2018 with the 9900k
